Oraro & Company Advocates’ quarterly flagship magazine, Legal & Kenyan, that gives investors a summary of the latest Kenyan legal trends is now out. The publication is written by the firm’s legal team. Being at the forefront of Kenya’s corporate and commercial landscape, and having acted in some of Kenya’s largest commercial disputes and groundbreaking transactions, the firm has a significantly wide perspective on recent trends in the country such as the changing tax landscape.
Of particular note in this issue, is the firm’s first ever collaboration with external contributors, in this case one of our valued international partners, IFS Mauritius. The issue tackles various issues such as insights on the Common Reporting Standards, newly operationalised Public Benefit Organizations Act, the duty of care in the Banking industry, the efficacy of the road annuity programme in funding road infrastructure projects and the duties and liabilities of directors under the new Companies Act, 2015.
