Oraro & Company Advocates specializes but is not limited to following areas;
1. Commercial Law - The Commercial Department, deals with matters of structuring commercial transactions, commercial drafting and syndication of agreements including joint ventures and initial public offers with respect to sale of shares to the general public.
The department provides legal advice on corporate issues, banking and financial arrangements, securities, private placing and public flotation. A section dealing with intellectual property matters has been established separately to handle issues relating to patents, copyrights, trade-marks, industrial designs and other trade related intellectual property issues
2. Litigation - The Litigation Department offers litigation representation for its Clients before the Appellate Courts and Courts of first instance in Kenya and provides legal representation before Arbitrators, The Industrial Court and statutory tribunals. The department handles all aspects of civil and criminal practice both contentious and non-contentious.
3. Real Estate and Conveyancing - The Real Estate and Conveyancing Department deals mainly with real property transactions involving mortgages, leases, transfers, charges and project management programmes relating to civil construction.
