George Oraro is a Founder and Principal Partner in charge of the Litigation and Commercial Department. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and his been with the Firm since its inception in 1977. He is of Kenyan Nationality and a member of the Law Society of Kenya.

Mr. George Oraro has considerable experience in the following areas:
(a) Drafting, negotiating single bank/syndicated loan agreements & multiple option facilities.
(b) Drafting and negotiating trade finance documents.
(c) Taking of security in connection with leading transactions.
(d) Mortgage and other asset securitisations.
(e) Debt restructuring documentation.
(f) Listing of securities and undertaking all aspects of Due Diligence prior to listing.
As Senior Partner in the Commercial Department, he is involved in the following areas:
- All forms of private and public company commercial work including share sales, assets sales and joint venture agreements. - Advising and representing Receivers and Liquidators of Companies and Deposit Protection Fund. - Commercial Conveyancing, including structuring transactions, development of substantial and residential commercial developments. - Negotiating Agreements with project consultants and project contractors involved in the project development.
