  • Advising Standard Chartered Kenya Limited on their Pension Fund on amendment of their deed and rules in light of a staff restructuring program
  • Advising Cooperative Insurance Company Provident Fund on its Trust Deed and its subsequent conversion to a Pension Fund to comply with the requirements of Retirement Benefits Act
  • Representing the Kenya Railway Corporation in various employment matters
  • Representing Standard Chartered Bank in a case, involving alleged wrongful dismissal and malicious prosecution(claim value KES 6 million, excluding the interest)
  • Represented Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, in a suit filed by their employee’s union, KUDHEIHA
  • Representing National Bank of Kenya in a class action, involving termination of employment on the basis of their low performance appraisals
  • Advised Save the Children(Kenya) on the re-alignment of their human resource policy to current labour law
  • Advising Diamond Trust Bank on re-aligning their human resource policy for compliance purposes
  • Advising Imperial Bank to ensure that their human resources policies are up-to-date with local labour laws
  • Advising Population Council on several employment matters
  • Advising a multinational ICT company, regarding employment law and regulatory compliance
  • Advised Bidco Oil Refineries on “their unionization” process
  • Defending Kenya Airways in the Employment and Labour Relations Court against a class action for reinstatement of employees following redundancy process
  • Advised a multinational client through disciplinary processes and termination of employees as regulated under the Employment Act 2007 and extensively reviewed its HR policy
  • Advised a non-governmental organisation through a redundancy process following withdrawal of funding for specific areas necessitating downsizing of staff
  • Advised a local financial institution and multinational on redundancy process following merger and restructuring of functions
  • Defending KNUT in a constitutional challenge where claimants alleged discrimination on the basis of age, with respect to the prescribed retirement of national officials
  • Represented KNUT in litigation arising out of their 1997 pay deal agreement with the TSC
