  • Counsel in an Application for Immunity before the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa(COMESA) Court of Justice in Zambia
  • Advising the Government of Kenya(GoK )(while acting in consortium with a local firm) on the ongoing privatization of Mumias Sugar Company Limited, the leading sugar producing company in Kenya
  • Contracted by the GoK to review the Mining Act, Cap. 306, and recommend an appropriate legal and institution framework
  • Advising the GoK and Telkom Kenya Limited on the sale of a substantial stake in Telkom Kenya Limited, to a strategic Investor and Initial Public Offer(IPO)
  • Advising Kenya Commercial Bank Limited and GoK on the initial floatation of KCB shares at Nairobi Stock Exchange(now Nairobi Securities Exchange)(NSE) and subsequent secondary listing. Providing legal input on the prospectus, preparing and reviewing all appropriate legal documentation for listing on the NSE, reviewing and reconstructing constituent instruments, conducting Due Diligence, drafting Agreements and ensuring smooth legal conduct of the floatation exercise
  • Advised the GoK and KenGen during the offer for sale by the GoK of 659,508,437 ordinary shares with a par value of KShs.2.50 each in KenGen, at an offer price of KShs.11.90 per share
  • Advised KenGen and GoK during the secondary offer for sale of additional shares by the GoK
  • Acting for the Communications Authority of Kenya(CCK) in challenging the constitutionality of some of the amendments introduced by the Media Act 2013 and the Kenya Information Amendment Act 2013
  • Representing the CCK in a judicial review application, involving a challenge of the Kenya Communications(Broadcasting) Regulations 2010
  • Acting for the CCK in judicial review proceedings, involving an interconnection determination challenge by Essar Technology Ltd
  • Represented Kenya Ports Authority in regards to dispute related COMESA preferential sugar quota
  • Successfully defended a party in an election petition challenging the election of a Senator
