Today, Oraro & Company Advocates is at the annual KAM Budget Seminar at the Hotel Intercontinental. Organised by KAM, one of Kenya’s oldest business management organisations, the event will bring together various stakeholders drawn from different sectors to discuss the recent 2016/1017 Kenya budget that was read last week by Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich. The firm’s Senior Partner (George Oraro SC) is among the event’s panellists leading the discussions on, “Manufacturing sector growth from 10% to 15% share of GDP in 10 years. Does the budget 2016/2017 support the achievement of this goal?” Also in attendance are Lena Onchwari (Senior Associate) and Cindy Oraro (Senior Associate).
KAM’s core mandate is to advance the interest of its members, consisting mostly of large manufacturing companies and the entire Kenyan business community. It does this by fostering a business-friendly environment, with a view to grow the manufacturing sector in Kenya. For more information on KAM, please click here.
