Regarded as a symbol of peak professionalism across the globe, the rank of FCIArb demonstrates an outstanding commitment to achieving the highest levels of knowledge, skills, and behaviour. Characteristics that accurately describe John Mbaluto.

As a Partner in the firm’s dispute resolution practice group, John has built a distinguished career spanning over 12 years with a specialisation in alternative dispute resolution and litigation. Over the years, John has developed a keen interest in arbitration,  representing parties in several substantial domestic and international commercial arbitration matters.

John was recently the lead Partner in an arbitration based on a claim by a contractor against the employer for the payment of the development costs of a University campus complex constructed by the claimant, running into the hundreds of millions of shillings.

CIArb membership is recognised internationally. CIArb Fellowship is the most senior level of membership and entitles one to serve on Presidential panels: panels of senior and experienced practitioners who are trained arbitrators, commercial and civil mediators, and adjudicators.
